The VEER Campaign

A media campaign that would feature persons with disabilities (PWDs) in India will run for two months through the efforts of the Being Human Foundation, American India Foundation, CNN-IBN, and aerated drink brand “Thums Up.”

The PWDs that would be presented are those “who have succeeded in their endeavors on the strength of their self-belief.” The initiative will also advocate on the PWDs’ inclusiveness, employability, and workplace accessibility.

In its first phase, the campaign will be collecting funds to train and empower more or less 1,000 PWDs. The viewers will be introduced to the idea behind the campaign afterwards and the panel discussions will be held with the members of the government, corporations, non-government organizations (NGOs).

The 4-episode series will run in conjunction with digital platforms.
